B-8240 is a kind of polyether trisiloxane surfactant.In aqueous solutions, it imparts super spreading and dramatically reduces surface tension. Therefore the biological performance of crop protection products can be significantly enhanced by:
- superior wetting of hydrophobic surfaces, in particular leaves and other parts of plants;
- better overall absorption through penetration of pores in the waxy layer of the epidermis, and;
- keep the pores breathable.

USES AND APPLICATION
When added to the pesticide formula or tank mix spray,the dilution of the auxiliary is 2000-4000 times.According to different pesticide varieties and formulations, adjust the dosage of silicone additives to achieve the most economical and effective effect. Compatibility test and drug effect step test should be done before use.However, the dilution factor should be doubled when weeding after seedlings, in the young fruit stage of fruit trees, and when used with regulators.
When using silicone additives, it is recommended to reduce the water consumption to 1/2 or 2/3 of the conventional amount, use nozzles with smaller apertures, and speed up the spraying speed appropriately.

STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE
After sealing packaging products stored in a cool, dry place , B-8240(unbroken package) has a shelf life of 36 months from date of manufacture. B-8240 is transported as non-hazardous chemicals.B-8240 is available in 200 kg/1000 kg plastic drum.
